take control of windows 7

im trying to place a file in program files on windows 7 but it always tells me to create a link instead...can any1 help me ?

I have no idea what this has to do with networking, but you didn't provide nearly enough information to make a useful reply anyway.

How are you trying to "place" a file. Win7 allows application installation the same as any other version of Windows.
