chkdsk Utility
After running the chkdsk utility the computer atomatically restarted but the screen is black showing just the cursor key. Is this normal and how long should I leave it. It has already been left for 2 hours.
Any help would be much appreciated. |

Re: chkdsk Utility
Hi -
No that is not normal. Boot-up your system into the recovery partition (usually F10 key during boot) or insert your Vista DVD, change the BIOS firing order to look at the DVD 1st. You want to select the option for "system repair" What was the purpose for running chkdsk to begin with? Regards. . . jcgriff2 . |
