Can someone recommend a anti virus for windows 7 in the past i have used Nortan McAfee and more recentaly AVG. preferably a free one.

AVG works with Windows 7!

I have been using Microsoft Security Essentials (new from Microsoft). It's free, small in size and seems to work well.

I also use Eset Nod32 (not free).

Hi avast,avira,avg,microsoft security essentials,there are probably more so look at kaspersky,trendmicro,comodo.
