Problems i just cant understand

So heres the rundown of what i have...

I have a Desktop computer with 4 gigs of ram
NVIDIA Geforce 9800 GX2
An 800 wat power supply
Windows 64bit.

Basically my problem is that just the other day i recieved a windows update for SP2 for vista, once i got that my computer went to hell. Apparently SP2 64bit doesnt work well with my geforce, but before i knew it might have been the SP2 i already system restored and downloaded SP2. So i cant restore passed that point it seems. I tried going into "View installed updates" and uninstall SP2, but it didnt work. Now when i go into hardware and devices under drivers i get a code 43, whatever the hell that is!!! This isnt easy, i rely on my computer for school, so with this problem im getting very frustrated. The problems i get are if i watch a movie of some in fullscreen my screen flashes black and normal a few times then reboots into a blue screen telling me something crashed and windows is recovering. As it recovers it will load into the DELL screen with green lines everywhere, and passed that point where windows is loading i see blue dots everywhere, and finally as i get back to my desktop everything has gotten blown up. Please help me with this problem i would appreciate it so much.

On a side note i have tried updating drivers and i have the latest one according to my computer, and i did download the latest one from NVIDIA website so honestly i dont know what the hell the problem is.

When did you install the video card? Any problems at all with Vista SP1?

The black screen along with the stripes appears to be hardware failure.

Run a DirectX Graphics Kernel diag report -
START | dxdiag | bottom-center of screen ' "64-bit" then "save all..." - save as text

Zip it up & attach to next post, then send me a PM, please. Are you running Vista x64 or Windows 7 x64?

Do you recall if any of the bugcheck on the BSOD screen were =

Ya i know im on SP1, which is why i dont understand when i uninstalled SP2 my computer still was acting weird. Basically from what i can remember from that blue screen is that it happens once i watch something, movies, cartoons, or something on my computer and i put it full screen. Once i put it full screen my desktop flashes black, comes back to the desktop, flashes black again then goes to this blue screen hat has a bunch of writing in it. The top says something like, "Something in windows has crashed and is attempting to recover" then on the bottom i guess its backing up my files so theres thing number increasing really fast. After that it restarts my computer and i get green lines/dots on the DELL screen, then on the Windows loading screen there are blue dots everywhere then my desktop is all blown up and everything is bigger and slower. Is that the blue screen of death and its effects?

When did you uninstall SP2? The most recent memory dump, from 9/28, says that SP2 was installed.

Utter failure...i uninstalled the drivers and tried to reinstall them from the NVIDIA website and it told me that the latest drivers are not compatible with my current hardware. I never got this when i first got my computer, i dont understand this.

Ok so basically heres the deal...i uninstalled NVIDIA Geforce 9800 GX2 from Device manager...there were 2 of them under display adapters im assuming thats normal. Once i uninstalled them i tried to download the latest ones and heres what happened. Either it would tell me that it isnt compatible with my hardware, or it would download half way and my computer restarts....please help i have no idea what else to do. Now when i goto device manager i click ACTION on the top and scan for hardware changes...and it brings up a new catagory called "other hardware" and in there it has VGA conroller and 3d video controller with yellow exclamation marks next to them. I have a Desktop computer with 4 gigs of ram NVIDIA Geforce 9800 GX2 An 800 wat power supply Windows 64bit. --If u need more info about my comp tell me what u need and how i can get it and ill get it-- Basically my problem is that just the other day i recieved a windows update for SP2 for vista, once i got that my computer went to hell. Apparently SP2 64bit doesnt work well with my geforce, but before i knew it might have been the SP2 i already system restored and downloaded SP2. So i cant restore passed that point it seems. I tried going into "View installed updates" and uninstall SP2, but it didnt work. Now when i go into hardware and devices under drivers i get a code 43, whatever the hell that is!!! This isnt easy, i rely on my computer for school, so with this problem im getting very frustrated. The problems i get are if i watch a movie of some in fullscreen my screen flashes black and normal a few times then reboots into a blue screen telling me something crashed and windows is recovering. As it recovers it will load into the DELL screen with green lines everywhere, and passed that point where windows is loading i see blue dots everywhere, and finally as i get back to my desktop everything has gotten blown up. Please help me with this problem i would appreciate it so much. On a side note i have tried updating drivers and i have the latest one according to my computer, and i did download the latest one from NVIDIA website so honestly i dont know what the hell the problem is.

Basically from what i can remember from that blue screen is that it happens once i watch something, movies, cartoons, or something on my computer and i put it full screen. Once i put it full screen my desktop flashes black, comes back to the desktop, flashes black again then goes to this blue screen hat has a bunch of writing in it. The top says something like, "Something in windows has crashed and is attempting to recover" then on the bottom i guess its backing up my files so theres thing number increasing really fast. After that it restarts my computer and i get green lines/dots on the DELL screen, then on the Windows loading screen there are blue dots everywhere then my desktop is all blown up and everything is bigger and slower. Is that the blue screen of death and its effects?

I never got this when i first got my computer, i dont understand this.

Once i uninstalled them i tried to download the latest ones and heres what happened. Either it would tell me that it isnt compatible with my hardware, or it would download half way and my computer restarts....please help i have no idea what else to do.
