New System Rampant BSOD Problems in Vista64

Hello all, any help would be MUCH appreciated.

I have built a Core i7, 6GB RAM system (OCZ RAM, ASUS P6T Deluxe V2). I am currently not trying to overclock the system at all (running 1066 MHz). I have Vista64 Premium installed on a RAID 0 volume and all runs fine as long as I don't try to access the Net. I can share files over my home network, etc. but as soon as I try to run I.E. or any other network app (other than file sharing) I get the BSOD/crash. Device manager shows several network devices with exclamation points (miniport and isatap drivers) and I am unable to uninstall these, and when I try to reinstall or update drivers-->BSOD again!
I am in the process of downloading the automatic Windows updates, but none are currently installed. I have also downloaded and installed all the latest non-beta drivers for my mobo from Asus and I have installed the latest BIOS. My mobo was an open-box from Newegg, so no driver DVD came with it. I even tried the more recent Intel X58 drivers on the EVGA support site, but no luck, still same problem.
Finally, I tried to download and install Microsoft's debugging tool, but it would not install because it says it will not work with my processor. (?)

Any thoughts? I hate to have a very unstable and expensive machine here....

Sorry for the 2-part post, guys. Forgive me.

I completed 61 windows updates and still the same problem. So I read the BSOD instructions and have attached my zipped diagnostic files (TSF and perfmon) as per the instructions.

1066 MHz should be fine. Nothing wrong with that, unless there is a faulty RAM module or something like that.

I just wanted to say that now. I'll look at the diagnostics now.

EDIT: There are no BlueScreen dumps in the diagnostics. Please navigate to C:\Windows and find a folder called Minidump. Zip the contents and attach it to your next post.

First I recommend SP2. If that doesn't solve it, open an elevated command prompt (Starttype cmd>right-click it and select Run as Administrator. Once in the command prompt, run the command sfc /scannow.

Ok, so rassstp.sys, according to a google search, is the Miniport Call Manager. That makes sense that this would be related to the Blue Screens since it is all the miniport drivers that are exclaimed in my device manager.
I ran sfc /scannow with my current Vista64 SP1, and it found no errors. I am at a loss as to how to get SP2 as it does not come up in a list of possible updates from Update Manager, and when I tried to download it from microsoft and transfer it the file via network sharing it would not run. (It said Invalid data, or something like that.) Remember that I cannot access the Net from my Vista64 machine right now without BSOD. How do I get SP2 to my machine?
Oh wait...duh, the file has not finished transferring....LOL...now wonder it won't run.

That could be one interpretation.... but if true, would you expect to see any of the drivers in the loaded driver listing contained within a subsequent mini kernel memory dump resulting from a BSOD?

Please re-run the batch script, allow execution until completed and do not remove any files from the resulting zip file.

However, you just installed Vista on 9-19; I would suggest a re-install if problems persist.

I'm traveling tonight, so I cannot run any new tests, but I did install Vista SP2 this morning before leaving. The miniport network drivers are still exclaimed in Device Manager, but the isatap one is gone, and my I.E. (Now I.E. 8) is working just fine without BSOD-ing (is that a verb?). I did not delete any files out of the previous zip file, and I thought I let the whole batch file run. I will try again tomorrow night.

Btw, I have not had any more BSOD but the system did crash and reboot when I tried to run the system performance testing thing built in to Vista (the rate your Windows experience, thing).

I ordered two HDs with one being DOA. So I installed on the 1 HD to make sure all components worked. When I got the replacement HD I then set up two RAID volumes on the two drives (effectively wiping the first one out), I then installed Vista on the RAID volume. Does that matter?

Yes, I have a full retail copy of Vista64 Ultimate I ordered with my new system components from newegg.

I have built a Core i7, 6GB RAM system (OCZ RAM, ASUS P6T Deluxe V2). I am currently not trying to overclock the system at all (running 1066 MHz). I have Vista64 Premium installed on a RAID 0 volume and all runs fine as long as I don't try to access the Net. I can share files over my home network, etc. but as soon as I try to run I.E. or any other network app (other than file sharing) I get the BSOD/crash. Device manager shows several network devices with exclamation points (miniport and isatap drivers) and I am unable to uninstall these, and when I try to reinstall or update drivers-->BSOD again! I am in the process of downloading the automatic Windows updates, but none are currently installed. I have also downloaded and installed all the latest non-beta drivers for my mobo from Asus and I have installed the latest BIOS. My mobo was an open-box from Newegg, so no driver DVD came with it. I even tried the more recent Intel X58 drivers on the EVGA support site, but no luck, still same problem. Finally, I tried to download and install Microsoft's debugging tool, but it would not install because it says it will not work with my processor. (?) Any thoughts? I hate to have a very unstable and expensive machine here.... Mike
