Recently i've installed W7 on my computer, and started encountering BSODs.
Usually it happens when looking video, so i suspect an audio or video problem. All the programs and drivers are at latest versions. My PC's chars: Windows 7 Ultimate (build 7600); BIOSTAR NF520-A2 TE 6.x Athlon 64 X2 4400+ DDR II 2 GB of RAM nVidia 7600GS Realtek HD audio |

Re: Windows 7 BSOD
This is a STOP 0x124 error. It refers to an error that's generated by another system component (usually the CPU) using the WHEA (Windows Hardware Error Architecture). As such, they're not easily deciphered (I can't do it).
But it's known that these errors fall into 3 general classes (depending on the analyst): - hardware errors - hardware compatibility (includes drivers) - driver issues (some will state that this isn't possible) I'd start by running the free Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor (available here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en ) Please let us know the results of the test. Then, there are 3 drivers from 2008 on your system. All of them function at a very low level in the OS (which is a cause for concern): Kaspersky Lab Boot Guard Driver (klbg.sys) nVidia Storage driver (nvstor32.sys) NVIDIA MCP networking driver (nvmfdx32.sys) I'd start by removing the Kaspersky (but put some form of protection in place immediately after doing so). Then reboot and test to see if it helps. After that, update your nVidia storage and networking drivers to the latest version available from the nVidia website. Make sure to use the Win7 drivers - if none are available post back and we'll work through that (older storage drivers can cause many issues with Win7).

Re: Windows 7 BSOD
You did a good job in generating the log file - it's just that there's no reference to the error that we can see. The error code (in this case) was generated by your CPU - and the documentation on your particular CPU tells how to read this error message.
I have tried to read the Intel documentation for their processors - and get lost in trying to figure it out. I haven't even attempted to look at the AMD processor documentation. I also wonder how useful the error will be (once it's deciphered) as the CPU doesn't have an awareness of how the system operates (despite the standardization offerred by WHEA). Have you installed the Vista drivers in Compatibility Mode for ALL USERS, selecting "Run as Windows Vista" and "Run as administrator"? If not, uninstall them and reinstall them using this method. There are known compatibility issues with Vista storage drivers on Win7 systems - but I don't know if these apply to your storage drivers (I had to buy a new storage driver card for my system because of this). These compatibility issues will generate BSOD's. Please be sure to run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor that I mentioned in my previous post. Beyond that, the only other thing I can suggest is to disconnect as much hardware from the system as you can to see if that helps. If it does, then it's the fault of something that you disconnected. Good luck!
