Crashing -.- (HELP PLEASE!)

Basically, I have just successfully built my first ever computer!!! (Yay, hurray!!!) Here's the problem, I decided to install windows XP pro and it wouldn't work. It just kept failing and failing even though this disc worked on my other computers. (Please note: I got the iso image from a torrent. xD) I decided that maybe my new computer needed an original disc so I can install an OS. I got my Vista Home Basic Disc that came with my laptop and installed it. It was successful. (Hurray! First ever successful computer build.) Now, it keeps crashing and showing a blue screen for no apparent reason. Java crashed many times as well. I haven't installed anything onto Vista Basic nor did any of the updates. But I know it shouldn't crash for no reason like that. Also, this crash is at random times. It crashed maybe 3 times in 90 minutes.

All help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

I was never asking for help with pirated software. Sorry if I'm being rude but seriously, learn to read please. I said I tried to install a black edition of XP but I failed and installed a legit Vista. I'm asking for help with that not the XP. -.-

Please show where the rules say "not to talk about pirated software"?

Also, I can't go on my desktop at this moment so I guess I'll be unable to show the BSOD results.

I'm kind of new at analyzing hexadecimal kernel dumps so please bare with me as I may not be 100% on the dot

.

The first kernel dump is Mini083109-03.dmp, and it indicated that win32k.sys was the culprit, which is kind of impossible - a NT kernel cannot be faulty, technically.

The second kernel dump is Mini083109-02, and it indicated that a 'REACTOR.exe', which I can safely assume is some sort of video game - as described here. You'll probably need to uninstall this using Revo Uninstaller.

Are you playing any kind of movie or video game when you experience your BSOD(s)?

According to your kernel dumps, you're computer lasts a good 2 - 7 hours before getting a BSOD - - does this ring any bells of what you might of been doing at the time of the BSODs?

Ah, you might be right. It wouldn't let me uninstall reactor via control panel so I went into safe mode and deleted all the files. That had to do with it. Let me try and get rid of it for good.

You can always reinstall it and then uninstall - this is the best method, as it will completely uninstall everything - - - - if you use Revo Uninstaller.

Please, do not use the control panel to uninstall your programs as it is completely useless - use Revo Uninstaller and select the "Advanced" method when Uninstalling - this is most affective.

Well, 5 minutes later, my computer froze. :(

EDIT: What do you suggest I do now?
EDIT:It just froze again. :( (When it freezes, and I restart it immediately, the usb devices aren't read by the computer so I need to take out the main power and put it back in.)

Fishy4Lif3 Registered User Join Date: Aug 2009 Posts: 79 OS: XP Sp3	Crashing -.- (HELP PLEASE!) Basically, I have just successfully built my first ever computer!!! (Yay, hurray!!!) Here's the problem, I decided to install windows XP pro and it wouldn't work. It just kept failing and failing even though this disc worked on my other computers. (Please note: I got the iso image from a torrent. xD) I decided that maybe my new computer needed an original disc so I can install an OS. I got my Vista Home Basic Disc that came with my laptop and installed it. It was successful. (Hurray! First ever successful computer build.) Now, it keeps crashing and showing a blue screen for no apparent reason. Java crashed many times as well. I haven't installed anything onto Vista Basic nor did any of the updates. But I know it shouldn't crash for no reason like that. Also, this crash is at random times. It crashed maybe 3 times in 90 minutes. All help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
