Hey everyone,
I am new here. So far everyone seems really nice by the threads that I have been reading. I need some major help. Okay. So, I am having some difficulty with my copy and paste option. Here is what happens. Whenever I try to copy and paste ANYTHING from Microsoft Works Word Processor into IE (example: blog) an error message comes up and says: "Internet Explorer is not responding. Would you like to restart program or search for a resolution online and then restart?" I hit restart and it clothes down and then restarts itself. I have had this problem for MONTHS now and it is just irking my nerves. I have tried everything. I tried to restore my system, I went into the control panel and made sure that my internet settings are accurate and that copy/paste function is enabled. I am completely flabbergasted. Help??? |

Re: hello :)
Hi -
Thank you for the file. One item that I see is an older version of Norton - from either 2008 or 2007. I doubt that it could be the cause of your trouble here. There may be an infection present. I would suggest that you proceed to to our Security Center, Virus/Trojan/Spyware Help Forum, to have your system reviewed by a Security Analyst. Please be sure to follow THESE STEPS carefully before posting your logs in the Security Forum. Please be patient as the Security Analysts are very busy and one will get to you as soon as possible. Regards. . . jcgriff2 . |

Re: hello :)
Hi,might be as simple as, go to start, all programs, accessories and right click on command prompt select "run as administrator" at the prompt type:-
Code:
regsvr32 ole32.dll press enter reboot to take effect.
