Exclamation YouTube and Flash Viewership Problems.

Hi! To anyone who can help me, a big thank you. I may not know what the heck I'm talking about but here it goes.

Recently my desktop Compaq Presario PC reset and/or reconfigured itself thus resetting all of my PCs cookies. The forums I frequently visit had forgotten my screenname and password and recognized me as a first-time visitor. Anyway this is not the problem itself but rather the layout for when I think the trouble began. Since then I cannot view youtube vids on it's site as it says I have my javascript turned off or that I don't have the Adobe Flash 8 or higher and them points me to macromedia's website. When I checked my javascript was indeed enabled and I do have flash 8 for a fact. I also can't see certain flash animations and movies on other sites. Could someone please inform me just what my problem is here? I apreciate everything and thank you.

Re: YouTube and Flash Viewership Problems.

Hi -

The only item in the zip file was a shortcut.

Please re-run msinfo32 and add a DirectX Kernel diagnosis log as well -

msinfo32 - saved as an NFO file -
START | type msinfo32 | save in default NFO file format - you'll see the NFO file extention when you go to save it

dxdiag - DirectX Kernel Diagnostics - save as TEXT file
START | dxdiag | bottom-center (if x64, click on "Run x64..") "Save all as text...."

Go to the folder where you saved the msinfo32 NFO file & the DirectX text files. Select both. RIGHT-click on one, select "Send to compressed (zipped) Folder" - there s/b a zip file containing both. Attach that to your next post.

Regards. . .
