I just ran Windows Update, and one of the updates was a display driver update for my Nvidia GeForce 9800 GX2. I was running a game while it was updating (dumbly), and the screen flickered black and then back on. Then the update said it needed to restart.
After restarting, it now says "Cannot Display this Video Mode" right after the windows progress bar appears. I hear the sound of Windows starting, but see only that message. Safe Mode works, and I tried reinstalling the driver from the nvidia website, but after restarting again, that did not work. What can I do? My MSI P35 Platinum Motherboard does not have a VGA Only mode or whatever in its bios...
