Very Simple Question

Is there any way to use the F2/F12 at the startup to get directly to the desktop?

If yes, how?

If no, I'm screwed

Thanks

Re: Very Simple Question

joeten: yeah i tryed going in through safemode, but it didnt workout. i listed my problem at this link

Unique problem with DEEP FREEZE

its a dell, 64 bit, and besides that i honestly cant tell you much about it. vista.

(so to answer usasma, yes)

but i did get to the advanced options (through F8), where the 3 different safe modes were available. i chose the first one (which was just 'safe mode'). anyways, nothing different happened, it just turned on with the same update message from dell pc tuneup.

thanks for the replies, if more info is needed where do i go to find it??
