How to Install Windows Vista

I have an Acer Extensa 4420 and I needed to get a new hard drive for it. The computer originally had vista on it and had software to make a recovery disk. I put in the recovery disk and it loads but then in comes up saying no partition avaliable. I don't know what to do?

So I had an old cd of Unbuntu and and it installed and said there was a partion avaliable.

I don't want unbuntu, I want vista like I had before.

Oh and my new hard drive is SATA if that helps.

Hi -

Re-format the HDD with KillDisk then try the Vista install again.

Make bootable KillDisk ISO CD w/ ImgBurn -
