Registry weird problem

http://img7.imageshack.us/i/img00221p.jpg/

I have Windows Vista 64
This error happens when I use the 'disc check' scan

Also, when I load my World of Warcraft game, I log on, choose my character, then it loads fully but suddenly it freezes and I have to boot

Any idea?

Re: Registry weird problem

Hi, when we turn your message upside down we find it is a registry hive problem. Now this is not usually caused by chkdsk in fact it is a common solution so we need to know :-

Is this the first time you have this BSOD
Have you just done a windows update
Do you have a Gigabyte MB
How much Ram do you have
Are you using Raid

Can you boot into safe mode if so try "last known good" Normally the message is "system" not "software" so have you recently downloaded any new drivers.

If you have a copy of the Vista DVD then boot from it select the "repair your computer " option and run system restore.

Post back how you go, we need to find what caused this otherwise it is likely to continue.

You might like to remove your ram to only 2gb and see if this helps, have you all the latest MS updates installed.

Bear with us this could take awhile.
