Crazy Audio problem! Please help!

Hi, I've got a really bizarre audio problem on my Vista PC. I purchased a CD recently and ripped it into iTunes. When I came to listen to it on my iPod, I found that the audio was distorted and garbled. I played the tracks on the PC and it was the same so I assumed that something must have gone wrong during ripping - so I deleted the files, ripped it again - same problem. So, I thought there must be something wrong with the CD but it plays fine on my stereo system and other PCs. So, I ripped the CD again on another PC that plays it fine, tested that the file shad been ripped OK and then copied the iTunes files across to my PC - same problem again! What can possibly be causing this? All other CDs play perfectly on my PC! I have made sure that all my drivers are up to date and I get the same problem when playing the files in Media Player so it is not an iTunes problem.

Re: Crazy Audio problem! Please help!

Go into Device Manager and un-install the audio drivers. Re-boot. Vista will re-install the drivers upon boot-up.

START | devmgmt.msc

I've tried that but the problem is still there, I'm afraid!
