[SOLVED] Vista SP2 not updating automatically?

Hello.

I recently found out that there was SP2 for Vista, I do use Vista on my other computer sometimes, but it says it has SP1 and never had any automatic update for SP2. Is there something wrong with my system that is causing it to miss updates? I am getting other automatic updates like IE8 and stuff.

If I get SP2 will it effect my gaming?

Ah-ha! it turns out I had some missing registry entry. I got it now, problem fixed. Thank you.
