Access denied.

So I am trying to delete a folder to the recycle bin, and its giving me the message "Destination Folder Access Denied" so I googled it, and found ways that worked for people. I have changed my access to full control, but it still won't work. This folder is giving me trouble because it has a program in it that I want to uninstall, and I already when to the control panel and uninstalled it, yet the files are still there, how can I get rid of this permanently?

Re: Access denied.

Try taking ownership of the folder:
Right click on the folder
Select Properties
Select the Security tab
Select the Advance button
Select the Owner tab
Select the Edit button
Left click once on your User name
Place a checkmark in the box that states "Replace owner on subcontainers and objects"
Click the Apply button, wait until it finishes, then click the OK buttons to exit the dialog.
Then try to delete it.
