New PC problems - BSOD

hi all i've resently bought a custom pc, the specs are as follows

Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 2.33GHz Socket 775 1333FSB 4MB Cache Retail Boxed Processor
Gigabyte GA-73PVM-S2H GeForce 7100 Socket 775 onboard VGA 8 channel audio mATX Motherboard
Corsair 4GB Kit (2x2GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 XMS2 Memory Kit CL5 1.9V
Maxtor 500GB Hard Drive SATAII 7200rpm
Sapphire HD 4870 1GB GDDR5 Dual DVI HDTV Out PCI-E Graphics Card
500W PSU - With 12cm Blue LED Fan 20+4pin 1x SATA 1x PCI-E
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium


been having problems since i bought it, occasionally it will work fine, but other times i constantly get blue screens and errors

stop codes i've gotten so far are -
0x00000050
0x0000005c
0x0000008E - Mostly this one
0xC0000005 - and this one

updated windows to SP2 and it seamed to work ok for a day or 2, but am now getting the problems again.

any suggestions?

updated my bios, seams to have solved the problem so far, if it goes wrong again, will post it again, cheers
