File Sharing Problem between XP and Vista
I am having a problem sharing files from my Vista laptop with a wireless connection to my XP SP2 desktop with a hardwire connection. I can pull files from the desktop to the laptop just fine but not vice versa. It tells me that I do not have access rights in order to access the files and that I need to check with my administrator. I wanted to try and reconfigure the entire network but my Vista laptop won't let me into the Network and Sharing Center. The program just hangs there and claims its not responding. I've already tried to share and allow full access for the files from the laptop and my desktop can see the shared folders, however I just cannot access them.
