Basic URL redirection
real quick, looking to do some URL redirection. Had it a while ago machine got trashed, but a host entry doesn't cut it due to namebased hosting. So I can say take domain.com and make it goto 1.2.3.4 but since it's not dedicated hosting by IP they get the default website for that box.
So... I know I used a regkey (pretty sure anyway) but rather than a host entry it did it another way so it mapped the IP but kept the name, so it went to the IP I wanted it to goto but keep the name so the webserver still responded with the site I wanted. Any ideas? tnx |
