OS: Vista Home Premium

STOP 0x07e = BSOD

stop 0x0000007e (0xc0000002, 0x824f0213, 0x80750b54, 0x80750884)

Whenever I unplug ANY USB device I get a BSOD with the following message. I have a Toshiba A105-4334 running Vista Home Premium. 4G/RAM 320G/HD. No mods or changes done other than the upgrade to the ram (Crucial) and the Upgraded HD. No strange devices attached or oddball software running.

This happens whether I unplug the device directly or go through the Stop device method.

Ran Registry Mechanic and it found a few things to fix none of which fixed this problem.

Have run chkdsk /r

Cleanup!

Disk Keeper Defragmenter (So much better than the MS defrag.)

I have found nothing via the internet dealing with the 0x07e stop except in XP and nothing that indicates a Stop with USB related problems.
