I recently got schooled about how evil REGCURE is. All of a sudden my network didnt work anymore and I couldnt connect. Got into a bunch of problems trying to restart my factory settings on my router. I did the hold the button on the back for 20 seconds, also did it while powering on. Restarted my system and modem and router . It just kept saying that the network settings didnt match the computer or sumthing like that, excuse my paraphrasing. So to make a long story short I did a system restore to 2 days ago before I downloaded DR EVIL (REGCURE). Now it works but the network is unsecure. good signal and everthing. I was just wondering if I could somehow secure it.
I'm using a NETGEAR ROUTER WGR614 v9 and a comcast Motorola modem and i'm trying to hook it up to use my laptop. I tried to connect to the IP address with NETGEARS SMART WIZARD and reinstall the settings like that but that also wouldnt work. This sounds so simple but Im stuck!

Re: How Do I turn my network secure?
Hello scottfoobeats,
You need to login to the netgear and set the encryption there. Steps should be similar to the following link. http://www.columbia.edu/acis/network...ear/index.html
