New Computer Problems
I just got a new computer from Dell. It uses Vista Home Premium 64 bit. This is the same OS that is on a laptop I got a year ago from Dell. There is no icon for the Recycle Bin on the desktop. I installed a program, tried to that is, it seemed to be loading fine when, after progression at bit, I am told it can't be loaded. I tried to uninstall because even though the program, Nero, didn't finish loading, it got listed in the control panel under Programs and Features. It will not uninstall even though it didn't fully load. In addition, an icon was put on the desktop that I tried to send to the Recycle Bin but got this message, "This is no longer located in C:\Users\Public\Public Desktop". Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: New Computer Problems
So, your problems are as follows:
1) Nero is there but really isn't. 2) Can't delete icon. 3) Recycle Bin isn't there. ____ MY solutions: 1) Get Revo Uninstaller 2) Use Revo Uninstaller to delete the icon OR boot into safe mode and delete it. 3) Refresh your desktop. |
