Arrow Log On Password

Somehow I can not remember the password to log on. When it powers up, it goes right to the log on screen. (I think my youngest daughter might have changed it on accident). The password I have used for years has been changed and I don't know what the new on is and I can't get into my computer.

My older daughter has limited access to the internet that I set up under administrator and she can still use her screen and password, but there's no access to my programs from her screen.

I do not have a back up disk, nor did I create a password disk. I don't even have a recovery disk. Is there a way to get past the log on so I can use this computer again?

I appreciate you help so much!

Deb

Re: Log On Password

Was the account that got locked out the actual Administrator account or was it one simply with admin rights?

This will make a huge difference.

Re: Log On Password

It was the actual administrator account.

I had three accounts set up, the Administrator (mine), My daughters, and a Guest.

Thank you!!

Re: Log On Password

While in your daughter's account try typing the following command into the run box control userpasswords2.

Good luck hope this helps.
