Confused Site Connection Problems

This is probably an easy fix but I cant figure out how to connect to other sites. Example: I can't connect to www.Pokerstars.com or www.ultimatebet.net I also belong to another site that has their own messenger system & when I try to connect I get a box that says "connection problems" "reconnecting" but it never connects. What do I need to change in order to make these connections work?

Re: Site Connection Problems

try a winsock reset.
1. start-> in the "start search" field type cmd and then up above that right click on CMD and select "run as administrator". If UAC is on click on "continue".

At the prompt type netsh winsock reset
Press enter
then reboot

I hope this helps...ooooh also try those site using internet explorer (no addons) I think it is in the accessories folder and then system. If it works with that then u need to disable some addons in the normal internet explorer!

Re: Site Connection Problems

Are you by chance trying to access these sites from a computer on your office network? If so, perhaps they're blocking access to those things.
