Windows Vista Activation Question
For activating Windows Vista, how does that work? Is there a way to bypass it to get everything installed, and then later on activate it?
I ask because I won't have an internet connection until I get everything installed and find the drivers for my wireless card off of another computer, and I hate the phone-activation. I've heard of like a 30-day trial mode that Vista can go into, but I wanted to check because I should be getting my 850W PSU today so I can get my computer built. |

Re: Windows Vista Activation Question
You can call them at a specific # and activate it that way or just plug a phone cord in your dialup modem and try to activate it. Youdo not need an ISP for this method...it just works.

Re: Windows Vista Activation Question
You have something like 30 days to activate Vista . . when it prompts you to activate, just click the "later" button and go on.
and the phone call is a quick and easy call if you need to do that
