video file icons don't show up like they did on old PC
My New PC is running Win Vista home premium 64 bit, and my other one was running home Premium 32 bit.
On my other PC, whenever I would Download a video file, instead of the icon where it is a piece of paper with balloons on it with the words "AVI", it would have a screencap from that particular video file as the icon. Well, my new PC I cannot figure out how to do that with. All my files I brought over are all that lame paper icon with balloon, and "AVI" on them, and not screencaps like they used to be. Someone told me to check or uncheck the box under advanced performance settings that said "Show Thumbnail instead of icon" But that didn't do anything. ANyone got any suggestions? |

Re: video file icons don't show up like they did on old PC
Not sure this is the ultimate solution but add the video files to the windows media player library and the pictures will appear. You can monitor folders so that video files are added to the library automaticaly.
