Can not connect to the internet on vista

i cant connect to the internet via ethernet and wireless

my spec is intel core 2 duo 2.66ghz, 2GB RAM, Vista home premium OS

if you require any more information please ask

Hi -

Go into Device Manager and un-install all Network drivers then re-boot. Vista will re-install the drivers for you.

START | type devmgmt.msc

i have tried what you recommended me to do, however the problem still occurs... are there any other alternative ways to solve this problem?

Hi, I take it you were connected and something happened is this the case? What firewall do you use, have you checked with your ISP? Also when you followed JC's advice were there any yellow ! in device manager. Post back the more you can tell us the better.

Firewall which i use is windows, yes there were a yellow ! in device manager.

jcgriff2 - yea, other computers could connect to the internet using wifi on 1 computer and ethernet on the other.
