Blue Screen error 7001 recent severe problem

I am having a severe problem with Vista blue screen showing an error of 7001. I am not well versed in diagnosing these types of issues. Two things that seem to have been involved with the blue screen onset is an upgrade of Photodex Proshow Producer and the installation of McAfee Internet Security. I have repeatedly uninstalled and reinstalled both programs. The Photodex program does not show in control panel programs and features after installation. I have contacted Photodex and they have instructed me to uninstall at the registry and the problem continues. I have also uninstalled the McAfee program at the registry and the problem continues.

Listed below is the text of the error as I was able to locate it on the computer.

"The network address is invalid. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706AB)

I would appreciate any help that can be offered on this problem. If additional information is needed please indicate to me where to locate the information since I am not well informed on where to locate this information.

Most recently I reinstalled the Photodex program and now it shows as being installed in Control panel/programs and features but it has no entry in the registry.

I have installed GData Notebook Security (thinking of possible virus intrusion) and double scanned the computer. No McAfee or earlier Symatec shows in the registry and G Data does not show in the registry but shows in control panel/programs and features. No viruses were found and the problem continues.
