Bootable system restore disk
I just bought an E-Machine 1161 with Vista Home Basic, and I need to create a system restore disk, as it came with no system disks. How can I create one?

Re: Bootable system restore disk
Hi MYoung535, Try Start..Programs....eMachines Recovery Center....click on "allow prompt"...click on "applications and drivers" ....click next and insert a blank disc and it will calculate how many you will need for a set.
I've been running my Home Basic since July 2008 and keep telling myself to get to that chore also. It will estimate how many discs you will need. 2 DVD's in my case. I just don't have any right now. I hope I grab some before I end up needing to Recover first....
