Hi,

I am having a prob with updating my avg and windows update.

I use a wireless network for my internet and am not able to update these 2 programs.

I used a friends 3G card for the internet 2 days ago and both updated while i was using this.

I am wondering if anyone would know of a reason why my own wireless network would not be allowing it to connect.

The avg says that it cannot connect to the update server even though the wireless connection is connected and my internet is working for surfing and emails. The same for the windows update.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

hi ihad some issues yesterday with avg update it eventually sorted its self out later and update had a similar problem today so i put it down to avgs server being busy but had no problem with windows anyway have a look here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822798 maybe of help
