Doom3 on vista
I have a Gateway m305crv with vista home premium installed, attached to it an external drive with 160 gb. I installed Doom3 and made it compatible with xp. It didn't work. I tried to run it as is and it didn't work. It worked before when I had xp home on this laptop. I attached the reading that keeps popping up and hopefully you can tell me what it means.

King of the Lab & Doom3 on vista

as far as display adapter driver I under the impression everything is up to date and if the video driver is what i think it is i looked into gateway and if i remember right this particular laptop don't have a video driver that is if i understood them correctly. been trying to figure out how and if it is possible to get a faster processor. I am working on getting a 80 gb internal hard drive sooon I hope.

My question, though - are the #'s in red correct for your system? Here is info re: compatibility from Microsoft for Vista - http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/ http://winqual.microsoft.com/HCL/Pro...g=d&cid=&f=64p You want "Certified for Vista" - don't settle for "works with Vista".
