Help Please
Hi,
Please cann somebody help. I tried to turn my laptop on last night and it wouldn't let me log in. Instead a blue screen appeared with the following message. 'A problem has been detected with windows and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, follow these steps: Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any new windows updates you might need. If problems continue disable or remove any new installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to disable or remove components restart your computer and press f8 to select advanced start up options and then select safe mode. Technical information: xxx stop: 0x000 C1F5 (0x0000 0000 0x0000 0000 0x0000 0000 0x0000 0000).' As I have not installed any new soft or hardware and the laptop came with Vista Home Premium already installed, I don't know what this means. Can anybody help resolve this. |
