Autocad installtaion gone wrong - now what to do?
I have tried to install Autocad to a Vista computer, but something went wrong.
I cant uninstall the program, because there are some errors in the installation, and I cant reinstalll, because the program already is installed... I have tried to remove the program files and folders manually, and to clean up the registry. Now I cant see the program on the "add/remove programs" list, but I still cant reinstall, because the Autocad installation setup, still detects the old version as being installed. What do I need to do? Where do I need to clean up or delete, to make Vista forget, that Autocad was ever installed?? |

Re: Autocad installtaion gone wrong - now what to do?
Get CCleaner, see if that will help clean up the registry. Go to the Autocad support site, see if they have an uninstaller utility.

Problem solved.
I found "Microsoft Installer Cleunup" at Microsoft homepage. That managed to clean up the registry, but only the strings and values related to Autocad. |
