I have a third gen ipod and am trying to sync songs to it from itunes 8 but keep getting a message saying "Attempting to copy the disc "IPOD" failed. The disc could not be read from or written to." im wonder why this?????
I would greatly appreciat some help.
i am running windows vista service pack one.

Hi turboshot and welocme to TSF,

Have you currently got music on the Ipod?

reset the ipod then do any updates available for it as it sounds like something has become corrupt afraid your music will have to be sacrficed unless you have it backed up
