OS: vista home premium 32


rundll32 error
An error window kept popping up every time I opened my laptop's lid titled "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" and saying there was an error with this file:

C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe

I've tried several things to fix this--I had recently installed "Adaware" by Lavasoft, so I tried uninstalling that--didn't fix the issue; I updated my NVIDIA graphics driver via HP--didn't work; I've tried updating other drivers, but those haven't worked either.

I have an HP Pavilion Notebook w/Windows Vista Home Premium 32

A few people suggested running Hijack This and posting my log to this site. So here is the log file:

I need more info on error message. Rundll32.exe is the Windows Host Process. It "hosts" processes.

Check WERCON - Problem Reports & Solutions for info
START | type wercon.exe - hit enter | Check Problem History - 2x-click on item for add'l information - post error msgs in full
