display settting
I recently upgraded my pc from xp to vista. installed fresh but my display is awful.
specs: DEll Dimension 2400 celeron 2.2g, 768 mb ram 40g hd, sw: vista ultimate x86 chip - intel(r)845G/845GL/845GV/845GE i know i need a compatible display driver or get a vista compatible graphics card which not an option right now. help me please.... email - rommel962@yahoo.com |

Intel doesn't have specific Vista drivers for that:
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Prod...D=865&lang=eng The best you can get is the generic Microsoft drivers bundled on the Vista DVD. You can try a Windows update too (be sure to select which updates to download - drivers usually aren't selected by default). Integrated graphics aren't the best choice for Vista. |

Hi, to be honest your computer is not going to run Vista (at least to anyone's satisfaction) unless you upgrade the specs which would be a waste of money. I would stay with XP many people are opting for this choice, makes sense, unless you want to spend money. I would get a whole new rig if you must have Vista.
