[SOLVED] cannot get sli to work
here are my specs
asus p5n e-sli intel core 2 duo 2.33 ghz 6 gigs kingston ddr2 800mhz matching dual nvidia 8800gt 512 pciexpress vid rocket fish 700wat psu xfi xtreme audio sound ok i cannot get the sli option to run, when i check it the screens goes black then comes back to 800x600 resolution and the nvidia cp disapears, i have tried all sorts of drivers for 64bit ultimate as well as using the newest bios for my board. both video cards are good i tested one by one they both register in device manager. is there somoehting i am missing? i am new to vista. |

you won't with that psu
it is low quality and underpowered for sli look at a quality 850w Power Supply Information and Selection

as i said im new to vista the psu im running ran sli cards fine in xp pro on all my games on full... considering the gpu minum psu is 450watt... but i will check i think it has something to do with nvidia conflicting with vista
