OS: Windows Vista Business x64, SP1
|
My computer's performance index was 4.8 (limited by CPU), with the RAM performance at 5.6 I believe, while running a total of 2GB RAM. I've subsequently installed 2gb extra RAM (same make, type, etc, so it matches), but now my RAM performance has dropped to 4.0.
Computer specs as follows: CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ RAM: 4.00GB (4 x Crucial 1GB DDR 400MHz/PC3200 Memory Non-ECC Unbuffered CL3) Motherboard: Abit AT8-32X OS: Windows Vista Business 64bit SP1. Any idea why my performance has now dropped with extra RAM going in, and is there any way I can increase performance again? |
