How do i connect pc to tv

is there a way to connect my laptop to the tv?
i have a digital antenna and i want to know if i can broadcast through it and tune the tv in the the right frequency but i cant find any details on it. all i've found is that i can use a s video cable, is there any alternatives other than that?

not too sure about what you want to do but to connect a pc to a tv you usually have to use either an s-video, hdmi, component, or rgb cable, all depending on what outputs your graphics card has and what inputs your tv has, if you have a tv with a rgb port then i recommend using a rgb cable, if not then for laptops i think s-video is more common unless you have a newer laptop with hdmi output. If you do have a new laptop with a hdmi port than this would be the best option.
