Problem with Vista Media Player and MP3
My son has an Ativa mp3 player which was working fine until about a month ago. Vista Media player suddenly stopped recognizing that the device was plugged in and would not allow it to sync. Even with the player hooked up, Media player asks for us to connect a device. Computer seems to be able to read the device and contents but acts as if it is not there as far as downloading and sync.
Thinking this was an issue with the player, I purchased a new RCA player on Black Friday. Same problem...... the software did download from the player, but the RCA Easy Rip software is asking I connect a device as well as media player. I contacted HP and got nowhere, their solution was to download I-tunes to my computer (really). For the particulars.... Computer- HP Pavilion Slimline Vista Home edition premium MP3 player RCAM208GR-8 Thank you in advance. Bob Last edited by bobsummers; 11-30-2008 at 05:19 PM. |
