IE7 Vista

Hi, I've just bought a new computer running vista, (ack). When I click a link in IE7 it opens the page in a new browser window. The problem is that the new window is always small sized, (not the text etc, the actual browser window itself). Is there a way to get it to permanently open full size as opposed to me clicking the maximize button every time?

Noobie question perhaps, for that I apologise. :)

Re: IE7 Vista

When you open IE drag it out to the full size of your screen (don't use maximize for this). Once you have it to the size you want close it down (IE). Now when it opens it will open to the size you just set (Windows remembers the size and position).

Re: IE7 Vista

Go onto the properties of the shortcut - on the shortcut tab there is a 'Run' option with a dropdown list next to it, select maximised.

Re: IE7 Vista

Thanks guys but neither of those work, (they do with xp but seemingly not with vista). If I open a webpage from the shortcut or start menu then it does open full page but never when clicking a link that opens a new browser window. It's really annoying :)
