Re: Help I don't know what it is.

Hi. . .

Nice pix - how long has it been like that? What does the Device Manager say - i.e., what are the error codes(s) for those flagged yellow?

I would right-click on each one and un-install all of them. Then re-boot. Vista will re-install what it needs.

Watch out for the Hamachi NIC - do a search of this Vista Forum and you will find quite a few BSODs caused by it. I see you are using MYkon Ethernet anyway.

Regards. . .

ok 1 by 1..

how long has it been like that?
Ever since I bought the pc. next

What does the Device Manager say - i.e., what are the error codes(s) for those flagged yellow?
This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)
And the find solution is no help..

???

Watch out for the Hamachi NIC =?
BSODs caused by it = ?
I see you are using MYkon Ethernet anyway. = ?

The Hamachi is not the cause anyways it is newly installed and it's kind
of the reason I came here. What ever is affecting the other devices
is affecting the Hamachi.

Thanks for your help up tell now I will do as suggested and post here.
For now can you answer the things I didn't understand?

Re: Help I don't know what it is.

Here is MS kb on your error 31 -

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932520

I asked about Hamachi b/c you have Marvell Yukon Ethernet - so I didn't know why Hamachi also present.

I cautioned about Hamachi b/c BSODs have been linked to it. It is not the cause of the error 31 here.

Is hamachi also error 31? MS kb says others harmless, so not sure how/why Hamachi not functioning. What is the driver date - hamachi.sys?
