scanner drivers

Anyone know if there are Vista drivers for a UMAX Astra 1200U flatbed scanner? I did try one I found on a website that has a lot of Windows drivers but the scanner still couldn't be detected.

Thanks

Re: scanner drivers

I tried that one and still couldn't find my scanner. And every time I turn it on, Vista keeps searches for the drivers and says it cant find any.

Re: scanner drivers

that didn't help either and the scanner doesn't show up in the scanners & camera list after it supposedly gets installed. It does show up in the Drivers Manager along with the unknown device that Vista picks up every time i turn on the scanner after installing the drivers.

click on the scanners entry in the device manager and see what it says about it
