Hello i am running vista on a LENOVO 0768E7U 3000 N100
I noticed that my hard drive was filled up for no apparent reason. I downloaded and ran WinDirStat and found a 45 gig "<Unknown>" in my drive. I have tried defraging, limiting the shadow storage, turning off system restore points, scanning with fulling updated spybot s&d and avira, and it is still there... almost mocking me. So I am asking nay pleading for ideas on how to fix this. some specs to help Windows Vista Business Service Pack 1 (build 6001) Enclosure Type: Notebook 2.00 gigahertz Intel Core 2 Duo 64 kilobyte primary memory cache 4096 kilobyte secondary memory cache Board: LENOVO CAPELL VALLEY(NAPA) CRB Bus Clock: 166 megahertz 112.71 Gigabytes Usable Hard Drive Capacity 5.91 Gigabytes Hard Drive Free Space MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-850 ATA Device [CD-ROM drive] SCSI DVD-ROM SCSI CdRom Device [CD-ROM drive] SD Memory Card [Hard drive] (8 MB) -- drive 1 TOSHIBA MK1234GSX [Hard drive] (120.03 GB) |
