download timeouts
I have been trying to download a new version of McAfee Internet protection suite ... the file is 48M ... my experience has been it downloads about 8 megs, stalls and after some time it begins again at about 2M ( I assume this is some sort of check point) This was repeat the amount downloading before timing out ranged from 5M - 23M. Eventually McAfee stops process. BTW I spent 1 hour on the phone with McAfee but got no relief and I got the feeling I was brushed off in the end.
My question: is there someway to eliminate this timeouts or at least get a Vista error number that will give an indication of what to do. Thank you ... Bruce Galway |
