I just noticed today that a series of icons appeared on the left side of my task bar. Don't know how they got there or why. How to remove? Thanks

Re: Unwanted icons in task bar
Hi, the taskbar is divided into two sections the right side is called the "notification area" and the left side "quick launch" Right click on an empty space in the taskbar and if locked "unlock the taskbar" Now right click on the unwanted icons and select delete if the taskbar "lock" is off just right click and delete the unwanted items when finished "lock" the taskbar.
