Need Help Reformatting Vista #2

Just found this post via Google.

I have an HP Pavilion desktop. Vista Premium.
- of problems, ranging from a jumpy or sticky mouse to my Adobe CS3 suite programs crashing, being slow to open, or not rendering or any number of abnormal crap.

So, is it HP and the programs they've thrown in to the mix?
Is it Vista?
Is it Adobe?

I just ran a test opening Photoshop on my laptop (XP) and on my desktop (Vista) and there's an easy 30 second delay on the Vista.

So, I've decided to reformat my PC and re-install everything from the ground up.

Any more suggestions/comments/warnings would be welcomed.
Thx

Re: Need Help Reformatting Vista #2

Thank you for the link.
After all my looking around and researching, I've found there are NO drivers for the HP 'packaged deal' to intall XP to!!!

Anyway . . . I'm finally at a stage with computers to realize I have to make my own machine from the ground up to get exactly what I want.

I'd go Linux if I hadn't found XP reliable enough.

Anyhoo,
thank you again.
I press on . . .
