Vista Ultimate Keeps Restarting!
Ok so here is the problem last night before i went to bed i put my computer in sleep mode. I do this every night. In the morning i restarted my computer when i woke up but then it just keeps going to my GigaByte screen and restarts itself. It keeps doing this over and over again. I can not even boot up the bios i keep pushing the Delete key but nothing happens, it just reboots again.
My machine is not even 3 weeks old yet. I basically built it from scratch new MB, new cpu, ram, etc, basically only parts i kept is my Hard drive and dvd burner. I have not installed SP 1 yet on to my machine. I was told it could be that my hard drive has bad sectors and i should scan it. If anyone else has options that i could try to resolve my issue I'd greatly appreciate it . Thanks. Edit: Oh and my Power Supply is also brand new it's the 700 watt ocz one so i don't think that is the issue. Last edited by woodemcjef; 11-12-2008 at 08:31 AM. |

Re: Vista Ultimate Keeps Restarting!
Well I'm at home now and still no luck
I tried to get in the bios but it still will not let me im pushing delete which is my bios key and other keys like F8 and stuff nothing. It just keeps restarting i even took out my hard drive and still keeps restarting and i can not get into the bios...Edit: Wow ok i just decided to switch of the power switch on the back of the Power supply then I waited a few seconds turned it back on now it works, but could there still be potentially a problem that I should be aware off? Edit: Ok so i will give you those listings you wanted Current System Temp: 38 C Current CPU Temp: 30 C Vcore 1.300V DDr18V 1.888V +3.3V =3.296V +12V = 12.492V These are the listing i see right now Last edited by woodemcjef; 11-12-2008 at 02:21 PM. |

Re: Vista Ultimate Keeps Restarting!
turning the psu off at the back resets it and can be a sign of a psu problem
see if the event viewer lists anything
