I am working on A Dell Inspiron 530 Desktop OS Windows Vista Home Premium.
When I Shut Down my computer. Everything acts normally, but when the screen fades to black, my computer stays on. No error messages; Vista seems to shut down normally but hangs right before where the computer should turn off. The situation began after Dell Support Tech installed a New Motherboard. All Drivers and the BIOS have been updated and all settings that would tell the Computer to Sleep or Hibernate have been set to Never. The PC will not power down even if you hold in on the Power Button. Has anyone else had this problem and if so do you have any suggestions on a solution ? |
