Multi-boot-option USB keys
Hi - I wondered - is it possible to create an Autorun program that lets you choose what you wish to boot on your USB key?
for example: i can plug an 8Gb USB Key into a PC and restart and at boot choose: Vista Premium Install Setup XP Home Install Setup BART PE with maintenance programs I fix computers for a living and would like to create the ultimate USB stick with all windows, common drivers and maintenance applications on so I dont have to carry discs around - everything on one USB stick I can use USB to install XP/Vista or launch a Bart PE/os to be able to scan for viruses without launching windows from the hard-drive...all that sort of stuff.. I would have thought it would be possible - you just create your own Autorun with options that point to setup.exe of windows installs etc etc can anyone help with this? thanks |
